The Menzies Belford Hotel has recently undergone a multi million pound refurbishment programme to reposition it as one of Edinburgh's leading four star hotels. Situated on the banks of the Water of Leith in a quiet secluded area, yet close to the cosmopolitan city centre, the hotel offers the best of both worlds. The Fourth Road bridge and both of Edinburgh's main railway stations are only a short drive away and many of the citys local attractions, including the Dean Gallery and Princes Street are just minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers a range of facilities including ten function rooms, a new sophisticated brasserie restaurant and the Granary Pub. The hotel also has extensive private car parking, including underground parking, which is free to all residents.

Our flexible menus are designed for taste, interest and enjoyment. You may have starters as main courses, there is both a Fixed Price Menu and a la Carte available for both lunch and dinner and each Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday lunch.
From the Forth Road Bridge take the a90. When the road forks, turn right. Right at the next roundabout and through one set of lights. The hotel is on the right. If travelling from the southeast, take city bypass west until the Gogar roundabout. Follow city centre signs and pass Haymarket railway station. Turn left at the second set of lights and the hotel is on the left at the bottom of the hill after the bridge.
